Chelsey McNeil

I grew up in the Chicago area where I got to be part of the launch of CYT Chicago, so joining CYT Front Range feels just like home! I performed in ten shows before graduating and have worked on CYT production teams and taught lots of CYT classes and summer camps. My professional training is in Piano Pedagogy (Trinity Int'l. University, BA Music). Currently, I live in Lakewood with my husband, David, and our three sons. We moved to Denver July 2018 because David is the new Director of Choral Studies at Colorado Christian University. I love tap because of its fun, expressive, musical quality. Tap's history as a dance style closely parallels Broadway's history, so it's essential for musical theater actors to be strong tappers. In Intermediate Tap, dancers will hone their skills and have a great time doing it! Plan on learning to create your own step combinations, build your stamina & style, and memorize more complex routines.
